It was a beautiful August day when I headed from my home in Abermule two minutes down the road to Garthmyl Hall, Berriew for the wedding of Rachel and Nick. From meeting Rachel and Nick two days before for their pre-wedding shoot, it was clear this was going to be a wedding full of punch & immaculate planning; all of the decorations and flowers were made and arranged by Rachel & her mum. It was clear a lot of hard work had gone into it all and it looked timeless, elegant and very chic.

Their ceremony took place in the gardens of Garthmyl Hall with all their family and friends surrounding them. Nick walked down the aisle to one of his favourite songs, with his mum & groomsmen all dancing down the aisle behind him. A touching ceremony was conducted by Celebrant Joanne Jones, it was filled with so much warmth, love, with personal readings and singing. As a wedding photographer, it’s an incredible privilege to be there for such special moments.

While the guests played lawn games and the band played, I whisked Rachel and Nick off for their portrait shots.

For the reception, Rachel and Nick were announced in epic style making their entrance together singing Keith Sweat's "make it last"; the guests had no idea of this! The speeches were all memorable, particularly the grooms; this was one of the best speech's I have ever heard, risqué, heartfelt & hilarious.

Once the formalities were over, Rachel, Nick and their friends and family hit the dancefloor! A perfect day.

I hope you enjoy looking at the Garthmyl Hall Wedding Photography of Rachel and Nick – an absolutely wonderful wedding to document!
